Wilbur Niewald of Mission spent three hours Monday morning working on one of his oil paintings in Loose Park, where he spends six days a week, six hours a day, painting. Each of his paintings takes three months to complete and Niewald works on two paintings simultaneously, one for the morning hours and one in the afternoon in another spot in the park.
